NPE Signature Program Features
Built for Adult learners
NPE programs are designed with adult learners in mind. The way that we build, deliver, and assess is shaped by the needs and preferences of adult learners. All courses are applied and reflect the professional settings in which learners will work. We produce an efficient and engaging learning experience.
Asynchronous Online
Adult learners have put a premium on convenience. This is why our standard delivery mode is online, asynchronous learning. Learners can begin their course at any time and determine their own pace.
Competency Alignment
Structurally aligned with the competencies that relevant professional organizations and employers have outlined in their frameworks. NPE programs cover the competencies and skills needed in the workplace.
Professional Certificate Format
Our programs are designed as certificates, typically with 5 to 7 courses. The design assumes that learners have at least some experience at the post-secondary level or equivalent experience.
Professionally Situated
All NPE professional courses are fully embedded in the professional context. They make constant reference to roles in the profession and situate all learning and assessment in realistic professional scenarios.
Future Focused
NPE does goes beyond what professional areas have required in the past. We anticipate future needs by incorporating topics like AI impact, sustainability, and EDI. Programs are regularly updated to include emerging trends.
